Mark “Coach” Soto is a John Maxwell and Success Certified Business Development Coach and licensed Realtor for more than 25/years. He was born and raised in the San Jose Bay Area (Silicon Valley) and as a young man became an accomplished Sr. Account Executive with BT Redwood Office Products which was purchased by Staples Office Supplies in the mid-nineties. While Mark was with BT/Staples he was credited for opening some of their largest west coast corporate accounts such as Hewlett Packard, Applied Materials, Seagate, Adobe and Sutter Healthcare.

In 2000, Mark relocated to Sacramento and became a high producing loan officer with Big Valley Mortgage a net branch of American Pacific Mortgage. Here is where he earned sales volume awards and earned Presidents Club honors for three years in a row before launching his own net branch operation called, The Home Loan Coach based out of Granite Bay, CA.

In 2011, he parlayed his years of experience in the mortgage finance world into managing a successful real estate retail business. Mark is also a retired high school football coach for 18 years and as a result of his two son’s military deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan he saw the need to educate students and coaches about patriotism and about the hardships and needs of our military veterans.

In 2013, Mark co-founded a nonprofit called The Honor Group, Inc. The nonprofit is still growing today and operates their flagship event called, The Honor Bowl which is known as the best high school football showcase in America, and has been annually broadcasted on national television and social media. The nonprofits primary focus is on educating youth about the
importance of patriotism and over the years the nonprofit has gifted many specialized wheelchairs and service dogs to injured, ill and wounded veterans. Mark was key to obtaining the nonprofits largest sponsors, The San Francisco 49ers and Jersey Mikes.

Mark is a man of faith, relationship builder, lover of people, inspirational motivator and believes winning goes beyond the scoreboard. His coaching goal is to motivate and inspire people to live their strongest and best lives. To coach future leaders to nurture their self-worth, exceed their goals, embrace accountability, and grow them to be positive influencers in our communities, workplace and most importantly, in their
homes.
